What should a personal trainer look like?
I might not have body dysmorphia, but I do get body conscious. And in this case, it’s not just a matter of having enough self-esteem. When it comes to the fitness biz, you get judged by your appearance. It’s a more even stringent first impression than normal.
I get that you don’t want a trainer who looks like a slob. You don’t want to be trained by someone who looks out of breath from just walking across the gym floor. That said–How ripped and fit do they need to be?
Do you look for a trainer solely on the basis of their knowledge?
I like my trainer to look like what he knows he puts into practice…
